Higher Education
Crescent First Grade College For Women participates in the Annual AISHE census — a comprehensive nationwide exercise conducted by the Department of Higher Education to collect data on all higher educational institutions in India. Our commitment to transparency and data integrity reflects our institutional values.
What is AISHE?
The All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) is an annual web-based data collection exercise initiated by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Every institution of higher learning across the country is mandated to participate.
The survey captures comprehensive data covering students, teachers, infrastructure, finance, and examination results — enabling the government to monitor progress, formulate policy, and plan resource allocation for the higher education sector.
Crescent First Grade College For Women has been a consistent and timely participant in AISHE since its inception, reflecting our commitment to accountability, institutional transparency, and national educational development.
Key Objectives of AISHE

Track enrolment trends, Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER), and access to higher education across states, gender, and social categories
Provide reliable data to inform national education policy, NEP 2020 implementation, and targeted schemes for underrepresented groups
Enable the government to plan infrastructure investment, faculty allocation, and scholarship fund distribution across institutions
Support India's commitment to UN SDG-4 (Quality Education) by generating comparable data for international rankings and assessments
