Founded in 2002 by the Crescent Association, Crescent First Grade College For Women was established with a clear and purposeful vision — to provide quality higher education to women from the Muslim community and beyond, in a safe, nurturing, and values-centred environment.
Located in the heart of Basavanagudi, Bangalore, the college is affiliated to Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University and offers undergraduate degree programmes in Commerce (B.Com) and Arts (B.A.) — designed to prepare women for meaningful careers and purposeful lives.
Over two decades, Crescent has grown into a community of over 3,000 alumnae across professions — doctors, lawyers, educators, civil servants, entrepreneurs — all proud graduates of an institution that believed in them when they needed it most.
